More than twenty years ago, I took a three-month trip around the Northern Hemisphere that would forever change my perspective on the world, its people, and cultures. It fueled an ongoing desire to see, learn, and experience more. I kept a detailed journal, but here are the emails I sent home along the journey, snapshots of a time that profoundly impacted the traveler I am today.
